  Growing up, I have had a ton of dogs, cats, parakeets (but I was growing up in London so we called them budgerigars!), and fish. In college I had a snake and a lizard that a friend of mine couldn’t take care of anymore.
  
  Since then, I’ve lived in an apartment that doesn’t allow many pets, so it’s plants for me!
