      I love vegetable gardening, beer brewing, hiking, camping, and swimming!

      Photography, especially nature, landscapes, and my son’s track and cross-country teams
      Cycling – mostly road (more than 5000 km last year), but off-road/mountain biking, as well
      Hiking and backpacking
      Painting landscapes using soil as the pigments

      I love anything outdoors, from playing soccer and softball to hiking and bicycling on and off road. I like writing songs, particularly folk songs accompanied by acoustic instruments. I also like to write futuristic fiction novels, and used to do pen and ink drawings as well as oil paintings.
